Hello from Beautiful Lava Hot Springs,

    Thank you for choosing Dempsey Creek Lodge in beautiful Lava Hot Springs, ID.  We offer 2 spacious units quietly located just off of Main Street and only 2 blocks from both the large Olympic Swimming Complex and the State Foundation Hot Pools.  Each Pueblo Unit has:  vaulted ceilings; a gas wood burning stove; 2 queen beds in separate bedrooms; a full small kitchen with refrigerator; stove; microwave; cabinets; some cooking utensils; and a dinner place setting for 4; cable TV and private bathroom.  Outside there’s a large patio with umbrella tables and a gas barbeque for your pleasure.  We suggest you bring certain cooking utensils with you just in case we don't have the item you need in the rooms.  Pictures of these rooms can be found by pressing the Room Pictures button above. 

There’s always an adventure to start in Lava.  Just explore any one of these possibilities in summer:  swimming, diving or sliding at the World Famous Olympic Swimming Complex, tubing or fishing the Portneuf river, gorgeous mountain valley golfing at Thunder Canyon Golf Course, hiking or biking the high mountains, horseback riding in Fish Creek Canyon, take a historic ride through Lava Hot Springs on the Portneuf Puffer, or listen to the quiet sounds of nature on a Baker Ranch Wagon Ride.  Winter snows offer:  downhill skiing or snowboarding at Pebble Creek Ski Area, snowmobiling or cross country skiing just outside of town, hot relaxing soaks and massages at the hot pool complex, or spend the day shopping year round at the many exciting stores.  The downtown shopping offers hundreds of unique hard to find jewelry, gifts, and décor at the lowest prices anywhere.  You can find western and Native American jewelry and décor at Dempsey Creek Trading Co., cultural décor, gifts, and jewelry at the Purple Moon, plus the latest California swimwear and clothing styles at The Outpost.  Anyone staying at Dempsey Creek Lodge receives 10% in these fine stores.  So take your special someone on a date they’ll remember or start a family reunion with us in Lava Hot Springs.  Your relaxation depends on it.
